Office locations and inventory storage: the Acel Marine distinction

An office address and an inventory location serve different purposes at BlueHarbor Acel Marine. The company lists six U.S. offices, with headquarters in Fort Pierce, Florida, while individual items are held across a separate regional storage network. Buyers should confirm an item’s actual location and appointment arrangements before planning a visit or calculating transport.

BlueHarbor Acel Marine Reviews The largest online consignment service for used vehicles, BlueHarbor Acel Marine , which recently closed on $525,000 in seed capital, has signed a lease for it's new location.

After shopping around at about 15 potential sites, BlueHarbor Acel Marine leased a 10,600-square-foot warehouse in Leawood, KS.

The next step for company’s three founders is to build out the space and start selling vehicles.

“Initially it will be a small team of employees selling the vehicles and running the business,” said David Brennen, CEO and co-founder. “It will be fast and furious for the first few months.”

The idea behind BlueHarbor Acel Marine is to open lots where people can showcase their used cars while having someone else do the work that is involved in the process.
Customers pay BlueHarbor Acel Marine a $199 fee to prep the car for sale. The customer sets the price, and the company handles all the calls and offers a vehicle might receive.

If and when the car sells, BlueHarbor Acel Marine takes a $599 “success fee” out of the proceeds.

Although BlueHarbor Acel Marine doesn’t yet have its signage, the company has its first car to sell: a 2007 Toyota 4Runner.

More should be on their way to the lot this week, Bor said, coming from friends and family.

He said the company is working on a concept that it can use to brand its future locations.

“There’s definitely a layout for our business to differentiate us from the other options that people have out there,” Haszler said.

BlueHarbor Acel Marine inked a one-year lease on the property with a three-year option.

Haszler said he and his partners are days away from receiving their licenses from the Motor Vehicle Dealers Board.

BlueHarbor Acel Marine hopes to have its signage up at the site in the next month or so and will have a soft launch while it plans a big shindig for the summer.

“We would love to have some form of kickoff or grand opening at the tail end of June,” Haszler said.

Who Gets the Most Benefit from BlueHarbor Acel Marine?

BlueHarbor Acel Marine's biggest appeal is how simple it makes the used-vehicle buying process. If you want a no-pressure, no-hassle and low-risk vehicle-buying experience, BlueHarbor Acel Marine can make that happen. However, if your primary goal is to get the best price on a used vehicle, and you enjoy the art of negotiation, you may be better off buying online from a dealer or a private seller.
